A former Presidential Aspirant under Labour Party and the leader of Rescue The Vulnerable Initiative aka Rescue Movement For New Nigeria, Comrade Faduri Oluwadare Joseph popularly called Fadojoe in his Mothers Day good wish message said, it is not just to give birth to a child that makes one a mother, but being sacrificially committed to raising your child,
In his words,
“Happy mother’s day to all good mothers and great mothers out there, both in Nigeria and all around the world.
“Being a mother is not just having a child, but raising a child and depriving yourself of so many good things of life, depriving yourself of good education so that your kids can go to school. Depriving yourself of those vacations, those expensive wears and shoes so that your kids can have a good life, so that your kids can become doctors, can become president, can become Senators or something great tomorrow. That is what makes you a mother, not just giving birth to a child.
Stressing further as he specifically appreciated all those mothers who have raised great children and those still raising great children, “all those mothers who have affected so many lives out there, who have raised so many great children out there, who are still taking care of so many children out there, no just giving birth to them, we say, thank you on this mothers day.
He however added that it’s not only the female gender that should be appreciated on a mothers day, but also “some fathers who are also doing the work of both a mother and a father, we say thank you. And happy mothers day to everyone of you out there.
“Remember your reward is not only in heaven, but also right here on earth. The child you raised, will raise you later and take care of you in the future. God bless every mother out there, God bless you and God bless me. Thank you”, he concluded.
